Ocean Sensory Bin fun!
Hannah absolutely loved this and played with it all month (I switched it out in July with a new 4th of July sensory bin).
She loved pouring water from her water table into it...lots of scooping and pouring going on!
And of course getting our hands in and looking for treasures is always fun!

Ice cube painting...neat idea, but my little gal lasted about 30 seconds with this activity (lol!) She had more fun just putting the drops of food coloring in the ice trays.
What started out as a fine motor activity string cheerios on pasta, ended up being a "let's just decorate the play dough with cheerios and pasta" which was still fun!

Hannah loved this simple activity I found on Pinterest. Pour paint (or whatever colorful item you have) into a freezer zip lock bag. Put a white piece of paper under it and use painter's tape to hold it down. We did hand prints, foot prints, letter, shapes...too fun!
"A" is for Alligator
First walk as a family...Hannah loved sitting in the front, and Bryan rigged it up where Derrick was in the car seat facing us...thanks Aunt Sachiko and Uncle Ashley for our new snazzy double stroller!
There's a two mile loop we did that brings us right back to our house...
Snacks are a must for an evening stroll...
Derrick slept the whole time...little cutie...
Grandmama came for a visit...

We all had a picnic...we've had lots of picnics this summer...simple fun is the best!
Bryan has been working hard to clean up around our house and land...he's trimming trees and weed eating here...
We did an obstacle course...disregard the pile of unfolded laundry on the couch...we were having too much fun to stop for laundry....This pile of blanket is our "big mountain"we had to climb.
Here Hannah is going "under the bridge".
Next was shooting all of her balls into the laundry basket.

Then it's off to the grocery around the kitchen. We also ran around the couch three times and shook our tambourines up in the air five times counting out loud REALLY loud.

We colored the A and decorated with stickers...
Derrick was also busy with some fun...look at that sweet expression...

So, no matter what I try to engage Hannah in building with these classic wooden blocks, this is the only thing she wants to do with them...put them in a circle and sit in the middle...
We went to a new place in Bowling Green called "Just Kidn'". Anytime we have an appointment in Bowling Green we try to find something fun to do since it is such a long drive. This day was Derrick's two month appointment and Hannah's two year appointment and we met our friends Kasey Jo and Heath and their two boys for a fun-filled day of bouncy houses...

Now we're having fun!
We went out to eat with the Doggett's at Geno's or lunch and then after some more appointments, went back to their house for some burgers and homemade ice cream...we miss them so much and it was so good to spend quality time while the kiddos played.
Homemade ice cream! Yummo! Wonder which one of these two boys will steal my little girl's heart some day?
