One Year Ago...

Exactly one year ago from this week Bryan and I were vacationing on what we called our "babymoon"--our last vacation just the two of us.  I was about a week from being six months pregnant.  We were so excited to be getting away to one of our favorite vacation spots--the beach!

 Wonderful Bed and Breakfast just a few miles from Destin....

 Wow, look at my swollen legs...I don't miss those days at all!  There's alot I miss about being pregnant, but that is definitely not one of them...

 We had a wonderful dinner at Pompano Joe's...

We ate at the same Italian restaurant that we had been to when we were on vacation in Destin 6 years ago...

We played alot of scrabble of which I was the champion....and we still have the score cards to prove it!

Now, one year later, we are blessed with a precious almost 9 month old that we couldn't imagine life without....

We love you baby girl!!!

My sister turns 40!

Well, not yet.  Her birthday isn't until April 30th.  Since we aren't going to be able to travel up that weekend, I decided to surprise her with a cake when she came down to my house a couple of weekends ago....

Easter at Grandma and Papaw Keene's

A fun day filled with an Easter egg hunt, Easter basket, and a wonderful dinner....I'm so thankful for a Savior who died on the cross (what I deserve) and who is risen and alive seated at the right hand of the Father....my living hope (what I don't deserve)....

It has been a while since I posted and I don't want to get behind, so I thought I would do just a post of pics in the past few weeks....

8 months old!

Has it really already been a month since my "7 month" post?  Seriously, time can slow down a little bit.  I mean, starting right now, if time just stopped for a little while, that would be ok with me.  Hannah is growing from a baby into a little girl right before our eyes.....

She is saying "da da" alot now.  In fact, everything is "dadadada".  She is also saying "ta".  She still loves to eat!   One of her favorite food combinations is prunes/apple/pears.  I'm really glad she likes prunes since I give them to her every other day to keep poopys coming!  She also loves sweet potato/brocolli or butternut squash/spinach/peas combo.  The new food for the week was papaya mixed with avacado.  She liked it and ate it up, but I certainly didn't get the "mmm" that I get with the others.  She likes zucchini too.  I was going to try a zucchini/tomato combo, but had a few issues with "seeding" the tomato.  In my opinion, not worth it!  We'll just wait til she's old enough to eat the seeds.  I mean, have you tried to seed a tomato lately?  There's nothing left when you get done!  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.  Advice from any expert tomato seeders out there is welcome!

My prayer for Hannah....

Also, just an update for those of you who might not know, Bryan was offered a job at Hemlock in Clarksville, TN(well, not all the way in Clarksville.  The plant is right on the KY/TN line).  After much prayer, we decided to except.  Bryan will be starting his new position as the valve engineer on April 25th.  The decision was bittersweet because we are leaving a wonderful company that has been very good to Bryan and I for the past three years and Bryan in his words "could not ask for a better boss".  However, God has opened a different door that we are led to go through.  The change is going to require a move, so please be praying that we will have discernment on where we should put down roots to raise our family.  This means we will be selling our house so, if you're interested....And I will be posting pics soon of the final completion of the hardwood floors and tile project.
